Vertical track systems are designed to be retrofitted to existing ladders or rungs, making them easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. Each system comes with a short, shock absorbing Fall Arrest Device allowing for smooth, hands-free operation. Special entry / exit gates can be built into these systems if the user needs to leave the system part way up the structure.
The system provides a ‘notched’ track profile which enables the retaining carriage to ‘lock off’ should a fall occur, making the system ideal for specialist applications such as confined space and industrial chimney installations.
These systems are suitable for multiple users per system requiring training on working at height and PPE. Fall arrest systems will require rescue plans and rescue training.
These systems and any associated PPE equipment must be inspected before and after every use by a trained user. They must be inspected & tested by a suitable working at height Specialist Company a minimum of every 12 months and/or after every fall.
