Vertical cable systems are designed to be retrofitted to existing ladders or rungs, making them easy to install and aesthetically pleasing.

At Altus Safety, we provide MSA Latchways LadderLatch Vertical Lifelines to be able to offer world leading fall protection.

Each system comes with a short, shock absorbing fall arrest Device allowing for smooth, hands-free operation on ladders ranging from 1-30 metres. Each system also provides complete fall arrest protection in the event of accidental falls whilst ascending or descending fixed ladders.

These systems are suitable for multiple users per system requiring training on working at height and PPE. As these systems are available in various high quality materials and corrosion resistant finishes, typical uses range from maintenance access for telecommunications, electricity pylons, railway signals, towers/silos and roof access systems on commercial and industrial buildings.

Fall arrest systems will require rescue plans and rescue training. These systems and any associated PPE equipment must be inspected before and after every use by a trained user. They must be inspected & tested by a suitable working at height Specialist Company a minimum of every 12 months and/or after every fall.

We’re always keen to discuss your requirements so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
