Inspection, Testing & Maintenance
Altus Safety provide a full inspection, testing, certification and maintenance service for existing working at height equipment.
Whether you are managing a single location or have many sites across the UK, we offer the same professional standards to all of our clients. We provide full UK wide coverage from our northern office in Cheshire and Southern office based in Reading.
Our highly skilled teams of operatives not only test and inspect your fall arrest systems; they will also thoroughly check that the installed systems are suitable for your users’ maintenance requirements, check correct PPE is used and discuss if any additional training is needed for the users.
Using specialist equipment that is regularly checked and calibrated our engineers test/inspect all of your working at height assets to ensure they’re safe and compliant in accordance with the latest relevant standards.
Our engineers are experienced and familiar with the full range of the products and manufacturers found in the UK so you can rely on Altus Safety to ensure that all equipment is fully compliant and ready to use next time it’s needed.
If any repairs or improvements are needed to your equipment we will provide you with a clear, easy to understand, detailed report and estimate.
Should a minor repair be needed that our engineers are able to complete in the same visit, our team will contact you to agree the works whilst we are still on site – avoiding the need for costly additional visits.
As part our service we can also provide cleaning and maintenance services such as gutter clearing, roof clearing/cleaning or solar panel cleaning whilst on site. This can often save our clients money and give them piece of mind that these tasks are performed safely by fully trained working at height operatives.
Once the site visit is complete we will ensure all mansafe systems are tagged and dated clearly, provide certificates as well as any reports and images.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure you remain compliant, that your people are safe and the integrity of your assets are maintained. We will remove the stress and hassle of managing inspection and testing dates as our team will contact you at least 2 months prior to any required inspection we have on our database.
This allows us to arrange a mutually convenient date for the site visit and ensures that equipment is always ready for use.
