Ladder Fall Protection
Fall arrest ladders provide complete fall arrest protection for users. This is a robust, effective alternative solution to traditional caged access ladders.
This solution allows for multiple users per track at any one time and requires only basic training on working at height and PPE.
The removable traveller glides easily along the fall arrest rail holding the user close to the ladder giving them total confidence while climbing. The 1m extension rail allows the user to exit the ladder whilst still being connected to the fall arrest rail for ultimate safety.
Aesthetically pleasing and cost effective the fall arrest ladder can be clamped or mechanically fixed to most structures. Fall arrest ladders are available in Galvanised Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel. These systems must be inspected before and after every use by a trained user.

In the event of a fall, a worker attached to a Fall Arrest Ladder is far less likely to be injured during the fall arrest process compared to a fall from a traditional hoop system.
These systems provide complete fall arrest protection in the event of accidental falls whilst ascending or descending fixed ladders.
The traveller moves easily along the fall arrest rail holding the user close to the ladder, giving the user total confidence while climbing. This ladder system complies with the following standards:
- BS EN353‐1
- BS EN 795 – Class D
Testing/Inspection standards and frequency:
Class D Fall Protection systems under BS EN 795- minimum of every 12 months and/or after every fall by a working at height specialist company
These systems and any associated PPE equipment must be inspected before and after every use by a trained user.

Users are required to wear an EN361 compliant body harness in order to connect to the shock absorbing fall arrest device. Only attach to the system by means of the front D‐ring on a compliant full body harness. Always check pre‐tension before use.
